  1. Day 02 Sunrise Tour at Tiger Hill & Local Monastery Visit (4:00 AM – 7:30 AM) & Transfer Darjeeling To Gangtok

    Wake up early for an unforgettable experience! At around 4:00 AM, head to the iconic Tiger Hill (Alt. 8,482 ft)—one of the most famous sunrise points in the Eastern Himalayas.

    As the sun rises, watch the sky transform into a canvas of gold and crimson, with the first light of dawn touching the majestic peaks of Mt. Kanchenjunga, the world’s third-highest mountain. On a clear day, you can even catch a glimpse of Mount Everest in the distance.

     On the return journey, visit:

    • Ghoom Monastery – One of the oldest Tibetan monasteries in the region, housing a 15-foot high Maitreya Buddha.

    •  Batasia Loop – A scenic railway loop with landscaped gardens and panoramic views of the Darjeeling hills, offering a unique photo stop with the Toy Train in the background.

    Return to your hotel for breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure—you can relax or explore the town at your own pace.

    Check out of your hotel and get ready for your drive to Gangtok, the charming capital of Sikkim.

    Enjoy a scenic journey through winding mountain roads, lush forests, and sparkling rivers as you descend from the tea gardens of Darjeeling to the vibrant, clean, and well-organized hill town of Gangtok.

  2. Day 03 Excursion to Tsongmo Lake & Baba Mandir (52 km | Approx. 3 Hours One Way)

    Timing: 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM

    After an early breakfast, get ready for a breathtaking excursion to one of Sikkim’s most iconic high-altitude destinations—Tsongmo Lake, also known as Changu Lake.

     Altitude: 12,000 ft / 3,600 meters

    This stunning glacial lake remains frozen during the winter and reflects surreal beauty in the warmer months. Surrounded by snow-covered peaks and alpine forests, Tsongmo is a favorite among photographers and nature lovers alike.

    Things to Do at Tsongmo Lake:

    • Enjoy the snow-covered landscape (seasonal)

    • Take a fun-filled Yak ride around the lake

    • Try warm local snacks from nearby stalls

    Next, drive further up to visit the legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a memorial built in honor of an Indian Army soldier believed to protect soldiers in this rugged terrain.

    Return to Gangtok by 2:30 PM
    Enjoy a late lunch at your hotel, and the rest of the afternoon is free for leisure. You can explore nearby markets, relax, or opt for a soothing spa session.

     Dodurl Chorten (Do Drul Chorten Stupa)

    One of Sikkim's most important Buddhist stupas was built in 1945. It is surrounded by prayer wheels and offers a calm, spiritual atmosphere ideal for quiet reflection.

     Timing: The tour is usually completed within half a day, either in the morning or post-lunch, depending on your schedule.
