  1. Day 01 Arrival at NJP/Bagdogra – Drive to Gangtok (120 km | Approx. 4 hrs)

    Welcome to the enchanting North-East! On your arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), our representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to Gangtok, the charming capital of Sikkim, nestled in the Himalayas.

  2. Day 02 Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion (52 km | 3 hrs one way) Timing: 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM
    Day 2 Activity : Tsongo Lake And Baba Mandir

    After breakfast, set out for a memorable drive to Tsomgo Lake (also known as Changu Lake), situated at an altitude of 12,000 ft (3,600 m) and located close to the Indo-China border. This serene, high-altitude glacial lake is surrounded by snow-covered mountains and remains frozen during the winter months—making it a must-visit destination on any Sikkim tour.

    You can:

    • Play in the snow (seasonal)

    • Take a Yak ride for a fun, traditional Himalayan experience

    • Capture stunning photographs of the dramatic landscape

    From here, continue to the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a shrine dedicated to an Indian Army soldier revered as a guardian spirit of the region.

  3. Day 03 Gangtok to Lachen (130 km | Approx. 7 hrs)

    Departure: 10:00 AM (11:00 AM during peak season)**

    After breakfast, get ready for a scenic road journey to Lachen, a quaint mountain village in North Sikkim located at an altitude of 9,175 ft (2,750 m). Known for its untouched beauty and peaceful vibes, Lachen is the gateway to the spectacular Gurudongmar Lake.

    En route, soak in the views of picturesque valleys and alpine forests. Highlights of the drive include:

    • A brief halt at Singhik View Point, offering panoramic vistas of Mt. Khangchendzonga

    • A refreshing stop at the majestic Seven Sisters Waterfalls

    • The confluence of the Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu rivers at Chungthang, a spiritual and scenic spot

  4. Day 04 Lachen to Thangu, Chopta Valley & Gurudongmar Lake – Drive to Lachung

     Start Early: This is one of the most breathtaking days of your North Sikkim tour, so prepare for an early morning departure!

    Begin your journey with a drive to Thangu Village (Altitude: 13,625 ft / 4,100 m), a remote, picturesque settlement inhabited by Tibetan nomads. Surrounded by snow-clad peaks and grazing yaks, Thangu offers a glimpse into life above the clouds.

    Next, visit the stunning Chopta Valley (Altitude: 13,325 ft / 4,000 m), known for its dramatic landscapes, frozen rivers (in winter), and vibrant alpine flowers (in spring and summer).

    From Chopta, continue driving another 30 km (approx. 1.5 hours) to reach the sacred Gurudongmar Lake (Altitude: 17,375 ft / 5,225 m)—one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world, nestled near the Indo-Tibet border. The lake, considered holy by both Buddhists and Sikhs, remains partially frozen even in summer and is a highlight of any Sikkim tour.

    Note: Visits to Gurudongmar Lake are allowed for Indian nationals only, due to its proximity to the international border. Proper photo ID is required. The terrain is rugged, and the altitude is high—be sure to stay hydrated and follow your guide’s advice.

    Return to Lachen for lunch and a short rest.

    Lachen to Lachung (50 km | Approx. 2.5 hrs)

    Post lunch, check out from your Lachen hotel and proceed to Lachung (Altitude: 8,075 ft / 2,425 m), another gem in North Sikkim. En route, revisit Chungthang, and don’t miss the cascading Bhima Nala Waterfalls—a powerful and photogenic natural attraction.

  5. Day 05 Excursion to Yumthang Valley – Optional Trip to Yumesamdong (Zero Point)

It’s often covered in snow, even during late spring, and offers stunning views of the barren Himalayan wilderness.

    This trip requires an additional cost and prior arrangement due to permit requirements and weather conditions.

  6. Day 06 Lachung to Gangtok (125 km | Approx. 5 hrs)

    After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to the peaceful mountain village of Lachung as you begin your return journey to Gangtok (Altitude: 5,550 ft / 1,675 m).
